Background:
Gary Jennings has been in the Real Estate business in Central Virginia for forty-five years as a Broker, Developer, Builder and Auctioneer. He has been the President of Blue Ridge Realty since 1981; served as Charter President of the Amherst Jaycees, Lions Club and Retail Merchants Association. Also was Chairman of the Amherst County Planning Commission, and served as President of the Patrick Henry Chapter Sons of the American Revolution. Alifetime resident of Amherst, he lives on Grandview Drive with his wife, Betty; has four children and six grandchildren. He is a Korean War veteran serving in the United States Army, and currently is an Elder in Amherst Presbyterian Church. His hobby for over twenty-five years was driving stock cars on local tracks, and has a private Pilot's license. |
